Why it??s always wise to keep the little things safe.

Author: Anthony Neary
It was only last week when yet another burglary took place in my town. Its not that it's a rough place, in fact it's a nice area, it's just these days things like this do happen'everywhere it seems.

Unfortunately this time it was my friend, who had gone to see a film with his family, only to return home to find all his jewellery, important documents and all his cash missing. Imagine his shock when he realized that the burglar had not even bothered to spare his five year olds piggy bank!

Such burglaries are becoming extremely frequent these days. It hardly takes time to lose treasured items in one go and more often than not we could do more.

Before leaving our houses often what we have on our minds can be how are we looking. We need to make sure that we are wearing the best outfit and sometimes the last thing we think about is security. So the first rule is to make sure that you show some respect to those keys that guard your house!

You need to think about where to keep your keys incase you are not willing to take them along with you. And please, the last place you must keep them at should be the flowerpots and under the doormats. Who is not aware of these tricks? In fact remember that not only are these burglars smart, when it comes to theft they could be even smarter than you. (After all for them it's their profession!)
So, in order to solve this problem think about security cabinets, which are available to provide you a simple and effective control over where and how you keep your keys. There are various types of key cabinets available nowadays including fire proof versions.

You just have to be a little aware of these and the irritation of perpetually hunting the keys will be done away for good. Imagine the time and energy you will save.

There are various combination locks and safes on the market, which have UL rating. For office, school or home keys, boxes and cabinets are available which can hold up to 49 keys. You can keep all your keys in this cabinet. Then there are larger cabinets also used by organizations and companies. You can even get cabinets, which can hold more than 200 keys. So, depending on the number of keys, you can decide the cabinet best suited for you.

I have always believed that the two things that we lose most frequently are handkerchiefs and, well unfortunately keys! Yes, I know that there is no comparison between the two, but trust me, it is very easy to lose that small bunch of keys that takes care of all your property.

The first thing to remember is that you should not really attach your name or address to your keys. If you do so and lose the keys somewhere, it provides a direct invitation to the thieves.

Also, it is always better to keep a duplicate set of your keys with someone trustworthy, so that in case you end up losing the original set, you can still enter your house, office, etc, and of course change all your locks immediately.

It is also advisable that you avoid keeping all the keys in one single bunch. This prevents the loss of all the keys at once.

So, keep these little things in mind and make your house burglar free!
